Wholly partnered with Beyond Innovation Studios and operating as Moditekka for the development effort with graphic design provided by Sparkplug Studio.
This site is a 100% custom developed, lightweight, dynamic AJAX driven content managed site that uses XML as a datasource allowing for much of the site to utilize gracefully degrading and dynamic AJAX to display content from any starting point. A simple custom XML schema was developed that allows for site content to be rapidly added, updated, or changed by the site owner through modification of XML data files. The intent with this site design was to eliminate the need for a MySQL database backend, reducing the infrastructure requirements and making the site easier to manage and update and to provide a powerful, dynamic AJAX engine that allows for post development content to be added that will still utlize AJAX functionality without additional effort by the site owner. |
| A State Public Education Department | SharePoint Server 2007 custom development. Provided custom, C# based, SharePoint web parts and supporting code libraries. The product was a customized security interface that integrates with the ASP.NET forms based authentication system allowing for the agency to create users from the SharePoint interface. Subsequently allowing users to manage their own extended data, such as extended user profiles and custom, user-identified, targeted data driven content throughout the application. The result is a rich application that provides user-specific content over the extent of the appication far beyond what the basic SharePoint user system can provide. |
| SQL Server Reporting Services Development | To assist a large state government agency in a transition from their Cognos (Oracle) based data wharehouse to a new MS SQL platform, a number of large Oracle data reports were tranlated into MS SQL for use in SQL Server Reporting Services integrated with SharePoint 2007. |
| Medical Health Awareness Survey Software | In partnership with Beyond Innovation, Infotekka developed an extensive medical survey software package that allows visitors to register with the site, create an account, and take a number of surveys. A large amount of data is captured for each survey and users are presented with a number of reports on their responses. |

The time has come to retire this website and implement a new one. We're likely going to stick with the same look and feel but it's moving off of it's current LAMP environment and going into .NET, where we can take advantage of all the fun integration stuff we're always crowing to our clients about.
